Spicies \ 2007

Salt & pepper shaker set
overall size: 38 x 88mm

Manufacturer:  KOZIOL (Germany)

His design philosophy is:
-    making products pleasant for all senses, using simple emotional ideas, vision of retro-futurism, smooth “human” geometry and color.
-    paying lots of attention to cultural, historical and technological aspects that might have an influence on product development in the future.
-    combining radically different things, turning them into one whole product, well accepted, well manufactured and well sold.

TIN lamp \ 22.02.2008

Contemporary art object.
The idea is to do everything backwards on the front.
TIN – Torshiere in lamp.

Status: concept, looking for manufacturer.

In 2004 I’ve started working in two Moscow design studios:

SmirnovDesignGroup and Designworks as industrial designer and 3D visualiser.
In 2006, together with an architect Sergey Mozheyko I’ve established Manworksdesign Bureau(MWD).
In 2007 MWD won Red Dot Design Concept Award, for SAM – our interpretation to modern samovar. While working for the Bureau, I’ve created various projects such as Saint B MP3 player, Loco chair, Tool lamp and several more.

Now I lead my own practice, creating special concepts such as Pantone Matryoshka; designing products for various companies, Koziol among others; and at the same time working for MWD.
