“Steal” a shopping cart, and then DIY the chair, if you will do that? These “Annie the shopping trolley” Chair by Max McMurdo for Reestore.
Taking carts that were landfill bound due to missing wheels or bent legs, designer Max McMurdo works his magic and “poof!” they are pieces you’d love to own. Reestore attempts to “avoid traditional eco materials in favor of contemporary finishes, fabrics, and, above all, style.”

Interview with Sculptor Patrick Dougherty

I recently came across this article on Don’t Panic.  Patrick Dougherty has always inspired me with his creations.  I had the pleasure of watching his LA, installation come alive on the exterior of  Max Azria (shown below) a few years ago.  After seeing that i feel in-love with his art. 

MAIN

Sculptor Patrick Dougherty has been creating stick-work since 1982. He has exhibited all over the world, from the swamps of Ireland to American city centres. The scale and beauty of his work has kept him in constant demand, but Don’t Panic coaxed him to one side for a chat.
